With 750 seats, the theater Alberto M. Alvarado has had two upgrades. One in the 80's, in the last century, and one in 90, State President of the Board Ms. Leticia Herrera and as mayor, Mr. Rafael Villegas Atolini. This last remodeling makes it look like they currently know.


To celebrate 40 years of theater, the city of Gómez 2007-2010 Palacio planned a series of activities presented in their forum. For this renewed part of the sound equipment that are available, taking on a new audio console, speakers, power and cables, among other things. In addition, in coordination with different institutions such as the Durango State Government through the State Cultural Institute, scheduled a series of high-level concerts, including the presentation of jazz Magos Herrera Mexican, or local activities with groups that have represented an important part of developing the cultural space of the theater.
