Magos Herrera of deep and captivating stage presence, is considered one of the most beautiful voices
the contemporary scene and one of the most active artists Jazz genre
in Latin America. Known popularly in Mexico and Latin America, the composer and performer
Mexico, whose eloquent vocal improvisation is full of Latin phrases Andalusian
Magi is known for its elegant way of mixing jazz with Latin rhythms and melodies.
Fluent in English, Portuguese and English, their repertoire is full of romance, intimacy and charm.
His career began in Italy in 1988 when he decided to get involved in music professionally
to graduate from the "Musicians Institute in Los Angeles. Magicians for 12 years has performed at international festivals
and cultural centers such as Lincoln Center, Winter Jazz Fest at Knitting Factory
and Jazz Standard in New York, "Millennium Park in Chicago, Teatro de la Ciudad and Lunario
in Mexico City, Festival de Jazz de Montreal International Jazz Festival and
Ribiera Maya Sala Galileo Galilei in Madrid, among many others.
has recorded 5 musical productions including "Cajuina", "Whispering Orchids," "Country
Wonder," "Anything Can Inspire" and "Soliluna" and 2 international collections in Brazil and Japan,
and was part of record the acclaimed series "Mexican Divas", the pair has been nominated
"moons National Auditorium in Mexico in 2006 for best jazz performance with Bobby McFerrin
and Bill Frisell.
